This is a must-make recipe if you’re a fan of the divine duo of chocolate and mint or you’re a lover of milkshakes -- or both!

2 tbsp Hemp Seed Raw

7 pitted dates

1 1/3 cups Coconut Milk Beverage, Unsweetened

1/2 medium avocado

2 tbsp Cocoa Powder, Natural Unsweetened

15 leaf fresh mint leaves

3/4 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract, No Added Sugar

1/2 tsp peppermint extract
DIRECTIONS

Add the hemp seeds (hemp hearts) to a blender. Cover and blend on high speed until powdery.

Add the dates, coconut milk beverage (well chilled), avocado, cocoa powder, mint leaves, vanilla extract, and peppermint extract. Cover and puree on high speed until thick and creamy, at least 3 minutes. (Hint: If desired, puree with 2 or 3 ice cubes for a chillier smoothie. Add extra coconut milk beverage by the tablespoon for a thinner smoothie.)

Serve in a large goblet or milkshake glass.
