By swapping regular ground beef with 93% lean ground turkey, you save 10 grams of fat per serving.

  • 1 second spray Butter
  • 1/2 onion
  • 4 garlic clove
  • 1/4 cup Basil, Fresh
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 tsp All Natural Tomato Paste
  • 4 tbsp Grated Pecorino Romano Cheese
  • 1/2 tsp Sea Salt
  • 1 serving Pure Ground Black Pepper
  • 20 oz Ground Turkey 93% lean
  • 1/3 cup Gluten Free Bread Crumbs
  • 28 oz Organic Tomato Sauce

1 Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Spray a large baking sheet with cooking spray.
2 In a medium size bowl, whisk together onion, garlic, fresh basil, egg, Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, cheese, salt and pepper until combined. Gently mix in turkey and bread crumbs with your hands, making sure not to over-mix. If the mixture is too wet, add an extra tablespoon or two of bread crumbs.
3 Form into 24 small balls using your hands. Bake for approximately 20 minutes, turning once half way through cooking until no longer pink (make sure not to overcook). In the meantime, prepare pasta according to package directions. Keep warm.
4 Heat sauce in a pot over medium-low heat. Add turkey meatballs.
5 Layer desired pasta, meatballs and sauce in a jar. Top with fresh basil. Enjoy.
