Spicy Gluten Free Pizza with Yellow Peppers and Fresh Basil

Amazing gluten free pizza with farmers market fresh vegetables. Lightly topped with Parmesan cheese, add a kick of Sriracha hot chili sauce and this will be a weekly must have. The trick to the gluten free crust is to make sure its gets crispy – keep an eye on it in the oven so it does not over cook.

INGREDIENTS

SERVES 2

  • 128 g Wheat-free, Gluten-free 8
  • 3/4 cup Low Sodium Marinara Sauce
  • 2 small Yellow Bell Pepper
  • 12 tbsp Basil, Fresh
  • 4 tbsp Parmesan Cheese, Shredded
  • 1 tsp Sriracha HOT Chili Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Red Onion (whole)

DIRECTIONS

1 Heat your oven to 450 degrees.
2 As oven heats prep the vegetables and sauce.
3 In a small bowl, mix the low sodium marinara with the sriracha.
4 Coarsely chop peppers and mushrooms.
5 Using kitchen shears, coarsely cut basil,
6 Place crust in oven for 4-5 minutes.
7 Remove from oven and spread spicy sauce mixture onto crust.
8 Put crust back into oven for 2 minutes.
9 Remove from oven sprinkle with 1/2 Parmesan cheese, and back into oven for 2 minutes.
10 Remove crust from oven add peppers, mushrooms and remaining 1/2 of Parmesan cheese. Put crust back into oven for 2 minutes.
11 Remove from oven sprinkle with chopped basil.
12 Serve and enjoy!
