Sesame-Crusted Chicken Breast with Pasta and Asparagus

Breaded and fried, chicken Parmesan is a rich, high-fat dish. For an equally flavorful yet light alternative, coat a boneless, skinless chicken breast in sesame seeds.

INGREDIENTS

SERVES 3

  • 3 Skinless Boneless Chicken Breast
  • 1 large Egg White
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 cup Cooked Whole Wheat Pasta
  • 24 spears Roasted Asparagus

DIRECTIONS

1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2 Coat chicken breasts with sesame seeds and saute in oil on medium heat until brown on each side.
3 Place chicken in a pan and place in oven until cooked all the way through - about 20 minutes.
4 Once chicken cooked thoroughly, serve with pasta and asparagus.
