Muscle Mashed Potatoes with Protein Powder

Comfort food = mashed potatoes. Now, you can enjoy this side dish with added protein AND less fat, making these perennial favorites good for a recovery meal, post-workout. We recommend using flavorless protein powder for these as well as red-skinned or Yukon Gold potatoes.
INGREDIENTS
SERVES 4

1 lb Potato, Red

1/4 cup Butter

1/4 cup Milk 2%

1 scoop Pure Protein Whey Powder
DIRECTIONS

Skin potatoes.

Place potatoes in a large pot.

Cover with water and boil for 15 minutes or until you can pierce

through them with a fork.

Drain potatoes before adding them back to the pot and mashing them.

Add butter, milk and protein powder to the potatoes and mix thoroughly.

Salt and pepper to taste.
