Place egg in a small saucepan and cover with cool water by one inch. Over medium heat, bring water to a boil. Once water begins to boil, cover and remove from heat. Let sit for about 5 min and then run under cool water. Chop egg.

Cook the bacon in the microwave by placing stripes on a doubled paper towel and cook on high for 1 minute. Another option: Place bacon in a frying pan and cook over low heat; turn often, remove grease, and cook until desired crispness.

Place lettuce in salad bowl and add chopped vegetables.

Add egg and crumble in bacon.

Drizzle vinegar and squeeze lemon on top of salad.
