With just 10 calories in a four-ounce serving, shirataki noodles are unlike any other pasta on the planet. Because you’re getting so few calories, you can balance the noodles with richer ingredients and still have a low-calorie soup. Ours includes grass-fed beef, which offers a high-quality protein.
INGREDIENTS
SERVES 1
-
2 tsp Sauce, teriyaki, ready-to-serve, reduced sodium
-
1/2 cup Organic Shiitake Mushrooms
-
2 oz Grass Fed Beef Sirloin Roast Fully Cooked & Sliced
-
3/4 cup Pasta Zero, Shirataki Angel Hair
-
2 tbsp Fresh Mint
-
1 cup Broth, Organic Chicken
DIRECTIONS
1
To make, layer in a 16-ounce wide-mouth jar (in order) the sauce, mushrooms, beef, noodles, and mint. (Note: Swap mushrooms for shredded carrot or thinly sliced snow peas, if prefer. Slice roast beef into strips. Rinse and drain shirataki noodles before adding to jar; do not cook. Try Nasoya Pasta Zero shirataki spaghetti.)
2
To store, seal and chill in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
3
To prepare, ideally remove jar from the refrigerator 30 minutes in advance. Remove lid, add boiling broth, replace lid and let stand to “simmer” for 5 minutes. For a hotter soup, transfer to a microwave-safe bowl and heat as desired.
4
To enjoy, shake or stir and enjoy from the jar or a bowl. Add salt, lime juice and/or hot sauce to taste. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds, if desired.
