These small chocolates pack loads of nutrition with every bite. They contain raw shelled hemp seeds (or hemp hearts), which contain a triple whammy of protein, fiber and heart-friendly fats. Hemp seeds can also help you feel full longer and reduce sugar cravings.
INGREDIENTS

8 oz Chocolate, Fine Artisan Dark, Baking Chunks, Semisweet

1/2 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract

1/4 tsp Sea Salt

1/3 cup Hemp Seed, Raw Shelled

2 tsp Raw Shelled Hemp Seeds
DIRECTIONS

Line cups of a mini-muffin tray with 12 (1¼-inch diameter) candy cup liners (baking cups).

Gently melt the chopped chocolate (about 60% cacao) with the vanilla extract and sea salt in a double boiler (or heatproof bowl placed over simmering water).

Remove from heat and quickly stir 1/3 cup hemp hearts into the melted chocolate. Spoon the chocolate-hemp mixture into the candy cup liners, about 7/8 full each. Sprinkle with the remaining 2 teaspoons hemp hearts, tapping the tray against the counter a couple times to assure they adhere to the chocolate.

Chill in the refrigerator until firm. Store in the refrigerator or at room temperature. Box up as desired for gifting.
