Give in to all of your chocolate cravings with chocolate dessert hummus. Often thought of as the starter dessert hummus, this is the easy and simplest way to make a dessert hummus that can please everyone.
INGREDIENTS

15 oz Chickpeas (garbanzo beans, bengal gram), mature seeds, canned, drained, rinsed in tap water

2 tbsp Cocoa, dry powder, unsweetened, processed with alkali

2 tbsp granulated (white) sugar

1 tsp Vanilla extract

6 tbsp 2% reduced-fat milk
DIRECTIONS

Drain and rinse chickpeas. Remove skins by gently squeezing and separating the skin from the bean.

Add chickpeas, cocoa powder, sugar and vanilla to food processor and pulse until chickpeas are broken up.

While the food processor is blending, add milk, a tablespoon at a time until you reach your desired creaminess.

Serve with strawberries for dipping.
