Mulberries and cherry tomatoes might not seem a likely salad pair, but, tossed with sesame seeds, garlic, ginger, soy sauce and honey, the bright acidity of the tomatoes and alkaline berries create a refreshing, Asian-inspired side. INGREDIENTS

2 cups Cherry Tomatoes

1/2 cup Mulberry Berries

3 tbsp Organic Sesame Oil

1 tbsp Honey
-
1 tbsp Chinese Rice Wine Vinegar

1 tbsp Soy Sauce
-
1 tsp Garlic
-
1/2 tsp Fresh Ginger Root

1 tbsp Toasted Sesame Seeds
DIRECTIONS

Wash and pat dry the cherry tomatoes, cut them into halves and place them in a bowl.

Add washed and drained mulberries into it.

In a small glass jar, combine the oil, vinegar, honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger and sesame seeds.

Close the lid tight and shake well till it’s combined.

Pour the dressing all over the salad and let it sit for a couple of hours.

Ideally, the salad should be refrigerated for a couple of hours for all the flavors to develop.

Garnish with toasted sesame seeds.
