Broiled Pear and Goat Cheese Salad

INGREDIENTS

SERVES 1

  • 1/2 lemon
  • 1/2 cup Pear Slices
  • 2 tsp Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 pinch Natural Sea Salt, All Purpose
  • 1 pinch Pepper*
  • 3 cups Mixed Greens
  • 1 tbsp Cranberries
  • 1 tbsp walnuts
  • 1 tbsp Cheese, Goat

DIRECTIONS

1 Preheat broiler on oven.
2 Squeeze lemon juice on both sides of pear slices. Lay pear slices on baking sheet and broil on low for 3-4 minutes, until pear is soft and golden.
3 Whisk together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, sea salt and pepper. Toss vinaigrette with salad greens and top with cranberries, walnuts, goat cheese, and broiled pear slices.
